AGRR

Welcome

This site provides detailed research reports on crop growth stages. For each crop we organize the following information:

  • Environmental requirements: temperature requirements, GDD (growing degree days)
  • Nutrient requirements: NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) uptake characteristics
  • Pests & diseases: major pests and countermeasures

Report structure

Each crop report is organized into the following sections:

1. Environmental requirements

Temperature requirements

For each growth stage (germination, vegetative growth, flowering, fruiting), we summarize:

  • optimal_min / optimal_max: optimal minimum and maximum temperatures
  • base_temperature: base temperature (growth start threshold)
  • low_stress_threshold: low-temperature stress threshold
  • high_stress_threshold: high-temperature stress threshold
  • max_temperature: maximum temperature
  • frost_threshold: frost damage threshold
  • sterility_risk_threshold: sterility risk threshold (flowering only)

GDD requirements

Guidelines for growth stage progression based on Growing Degree Days (GDD).

2. Nutrition requirements

NPK uptake profiles for each growth stage.

3. Pests & diseases

Major pests and practical countermeasures.

Data sources

All reports are based on the following sources:

  • Official Japanese public institutions and academic literature
  • International agronomy studies
  • Agricultural technical manuals
  • Official guides and manuals

Each report includes a detailed bibliography.

How to use

  1. Select the crop from the left navigation menu
  2. Refer to the sections (Environmental, Nutrition, Pests & Diseases)
  3. Check tables and charts for numerical details
  4. Refer to the bibliography for original sources

Notes

  • Values are general guidelines and may vary by cultivar, region, and growing conditions
  • Adjust management according to local weather and soil conditions
  • Refer to original literature for the latest research
